On Saturday at Gulfstream Park West, Sunshine Millions Preview Day will kick off with the $100,000 Millions Turf Preview. Restricted to Florida-breds, the race will be contested at a mile and a sixteenth on the turf and has drawn a field of eight colts and geldings.

Reporting Star tops the field as the morning line favorite at odds of 8-5 for trainer Pat Parente. A five-year-old gelded son of Circular Quay, he is a five time winner and notched his first graded stakes victory earlier this year in the Play the King Stakes (G3) at Woodbine. He was second in the Sunshine Millions Turf last year and is trying to move forward after finishing fifth in the Canadian International Stakes (G1). Paco Lopez will be aboard from post position six.

Old Time Hockey back in against stakes competition

Second choice at morning line odds of 3-1 is Old Time Hockey for trainer Tom Proctor. A six-year-old son of Smarty Jones, the chestnut gelding is a seven-time winner for owner and breeder Glen Hill Farm. He was a graded stakes winner at three and is stepping back up to stakes company after winning an optional claiming race at Parx last time out. Ron Allen, Jr. will be in the irons and they will break from the rail.

Stakes debut for inexperienced One Step Salsa

Also in the field at morning line odds of 5-1 is One Step Salsa for trainer Michael Maker. A four-year-old son of Two Step Salsa, the lightly-raced gelding has won three of his four starts and will be making his stakes debut. He broke his maiden at first asking in January then won his next start before going to the sidelines for seven months. He was sixth in an allowance race last time out and will have Eddie Castro aboard from post five.
