The $89,000 Louisiana Futurity carded as race 4 New Year’s Eve at Fair Grounds draws a field of six two year-old colts set to go six furlongs on the main track. 
The 26th running of the Tropical Park Oaks Saturday, December 20 at Gulfstream Park features a full field of 14 fillies set to go a mile and one sixteenth on the grass in an enticing betting race. 
Like the majority of the Claiming Crown races highlighting the opening day card December 6 at Gulfstream Park, the $110,000 Rapid Transit features a full field and offers terrific betting value. 
Of the eight stakes races carded Saturday, November 22 at Delta Downs, the $200,000 Treasure Chest appears to be one of the more competitive betting affairs with nine fillies and mares lined up to contest the mile race on the dirt. 
The featured race on Saturday at Delta Downs is the $1 million Delta Jackpot. The Grade 3 race has attracted a field of twelve juvenile colts and geldings to compete in the mile and a sixteenth contest. 
On Saturday at Aqueduct, the featured race is the 55th edition of the $150,000 Red Smith Handicap. Scheduled to be run at a mile and three eighths on the turf, the Grade 3 race has drawn a field of eleven. 
The $100,000 Juvenile Filly Turf Preview November 8 at Gulfstream West is a puzzling betting race with little separating the top contenders in the one mile race. 
On Friday at Remington Park, two-year-olds will compete in the $100,000 Clever Trevor Stakes. The seven-furlong contest has attracted a field of eight promising juveniles. 
The $100,000 Damascus is the last undercard stakes before Breeders’ Cup action officially begins Friday, October 31 at Santa Anita, but from a betting standpoint the race might be as good as any on the card.
