On Saturday at Gulfstream Park West, Sunshine Millions Preview Day will kick off with the $100,000 Millions Turf Preview. Restricted to Florida-breds, the race will be contested at a mile and a sixteenth on the turf and has drawn a field of eight colts and geldings. 
On Saturday at Keeneland, some of the fastest fillies and mares in the world will meet up in the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint. Carded at seven furlongs on the main track, the Grade 1 has drawn a field of fourteen. 
On Saturday at Keeneland, the featured race is the $150,000 Valley View Stakes. Restricted to three-year-old fillies, the Grade 3 event will be run at a mile and a sixteenth on the turf and has drawn a full field of fourteen with two additional fillies listed as also-eligible. 
Todd Pletcher has pre-entered ten horses for the Breeders’ Cup which will be held over the course of two days, October 30 and October 31, at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky. One of the top barns in the country, Pletcher has saddled seven Breeders’ Cup winners to date. 
On Saturday at Keeneland, the featured race is the $250,000 Raven Run Stakes. Restricted to three-year-old fillies, the seven-furlong race holds Grade 2 status and has attracted a field of eleven. 
On Monday at Woodbine, the featured race is the $150,000 Carotene Stakes. Restricted to three-year-old fillies bred in Ontario, the race has been carded at a mile and an eighth on the turf and has drawn a field of seven. 
A lone stakes race appears on the October 10 card at Keeneland, but it’s one worth watching. The $500,000 Grade 1 Queen’s Elizabeth II Challenge features a strong field with 9 three year-old fillies set to contest the mile and one eighth event on turf. 
On Friday at Keeneland, the featured race is the $100,000 Buffalo Trace Franklin County Stakes. Scheduled to be run at five and a half furlongs on the turf, the stakes race has drawn a field of nine fillies and mares. 
On Saturday at Keeneland, the track will host the $1 million Shadwell Turf Mile. A key prep for the Breeders’ Cup Mile, the Grade 1 event will be run at one mile on the turf and has drawn a field of thirteen colts and geldings.
